“The Mandrake”
“The Mandrake” is a short film currently in production and will premiere in May of 2020. The film shows the life of a lonely farmer who is tasked by a witch to grow the unexpected, a Mandrake.
I was part of the story and visual development team in the preproduction phase of this film. I was in charge of storyboarding the bonding montage between the farmer and the Mandrake. Some boards were cut and revised during the animatic and story editing phase, but here are some of the original boards.
